Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively searching for a Medical Education Coordinator, LATAM. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better.

Main Objective: Creatively and actively participate in the department of medical education to carry out logistical operation for organization and maintenance activities for healthcare professional and representative education.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate LMS-based and live representative training programs for subsidiaries and distributors
  • Assist with the creation and administration of online educational materials
  • Maintain participation and progress report information associated with LMS online learning system
  • Coordinate healthcare professional visits to global headquarters for corporate courses and single day labs
  • Assist subsidiaries and distributor medical education representatives with event information and planning related to agendas, follow-up letters, and scheduling of facility tours
  • Coordinate physician observation program
  • Maintain Medical Education events in consultant timekeeping system
  • Process distributor instructor requests, 3rd party courses, and international events
  • Assist in development of corporate medical education marketing assets
  • Coordinate production of educational materials, textbooks, electronic books, etc.
  • Assist Medical Education Operations Manager with fellows, faculty, and corporate events
  • Provide administrative support for Vice President of Global Medical Education and management team
  • Maintain clinical staff contact information
  • Provide clerical support to Medical Education Department


Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of Administrative Assistant/Office experience required.


Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, proofreading and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform detailed work accurately.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Highly discrete individual who can handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Knowledge of arthroscopic and sports medicine related orthopedic procedures preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish required.
  • Minimal travel required.


Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Command of Microsoft PC based programs (MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), fax machine, laser printer, scanner, copier, telephone.
