Job Description

Reporting to the Associate Director, Therapeutic Training, the Manager, Training-at-Large will be responsible for creating or supporting various learning environments that challenge associates to elevate skills and produce results. Through a coordinated effort with their CT&D colleagues, Teva Sales and Marketing or Market Access, they will focus on the development of skill sets, product knowledge, or tools that support brand strategies. They will help to plan, organize and facilitate training activities for their various therapeutic divisions and be responsible for implementing and maintaining Commercial Training & Development enterprise initiatives.   

Responsibilities  

  • Develop and deliver training programs that support the promotion of products in various therapeutic areas. 
  • Define the appropriate training content for the commercial organization and help ensure successful implementation of that content.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners across the organization to deliver training solutions that meet the identified objectives.
  • Responsible for planning and executing blended training programs at new hire training, national meetings, regional meetings, and other events. 
  • Responsible for submitting, gaining approval of and continued maintenance of training resources through Teva’s Promotion and Advertising Review Process. 
  • Coach, teach, and train sales associates during training events. Assists field managers in ongoing development of their representatives by providing written and verbal feedback.
  • Evaluate classroom curriculum and work with training leadership to keep training current and relevant for the field.
  • Stay current with training trends by attending professional meetings and trainer development events.
  • Suggest solutions that align with the strategic priorities of the overall organization.
     


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Examples: business, education, or related field)
  • Minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical or industry related experience required (Some training experience preferred)
  • Possess strong computer skills, including a sophisticated knowledge of web-based applications and multimedia / video technologies
  • Results-oriented with demonstrated a sense of urgency
  • Project management experience with attention to detail
  • Ability to perform in high pressure and fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
