We are hiring an Instructional Designer to join the production arm of the Zete Performance team. In this role, you have the opportunity to reimagine the classroom learning experience using sound instructional design practices and the courage to go after bold ideas. You will link arms with both corporate and sales stakeholders to build and oversee the execution of live and virtual learning experiences. Must be able to consult, think with a strategic mindset, and visually represent ideas on paper, white board, or other visual formats. Ability to coach/mentor team members on instructional practices in a highly fast-paced environment. Must have competency in: Microsoft Office, course and curriculum design with outlines and storyboards that meet both traditional classroom, print, digital, mobile, web, and online training tied to a Learning Management System (LMS), Social Media applications, and/or continuous learning environments.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes needs and opportunities to design instructional best practices in a dynamic environment.
- Uses internal and external research methods to design curriculum.
- Collects information and interview subject matter experts to gain an understanding of approach, content, topics, and approach.
- Provides a broad solution approach for instructional design across multiple channels working as a single delivery solution or blended as needed.
- Provides expertise in writing and instructional design principles with proven organizational methods, frameworks, and foundational principles.
- Works cooperatively with others to promote awareness and support of learning.
- Drives design of role based competencies and learning curriculum tracks.
- Designs learning instruction tied to integration of any new products, line extensions or acquisitions.
- Assists in setting up instructional systems, processes, and practices for any corporate, local or regional training classes, webinars, and workshops.
- Acts as a learning instructional expert, coach, and mentor for all training, development, and growth initiatives.
- Manages projects using project management principles, tools, and resources to ensure scope and time expectations are met.
This position is fully-remote with up to 20% travel.
